Every day is like Sunday...
Due to the current situation, we're entering in to a strange era and in the words of Morrissey, every day does feel like a Sunday or at least a bank holiday Monday!
What I have decided to do is to put together a blog of some type (forgive me if it's a bit ropy to start with - I'm learning) and I ask you dear reader, to give me questions via the contact button on the website or inbox the Aiyana Beauty page on Facebook - questions could range from what cleanser is best for what skin type or what if any is a home remedy for getting rid of a pimple.
In this first blog I'm going to pop down a few home recipes for natural face masks for a variety of skin types with links to purchase from Amazon.
I must state as an Amazon associate this page contains affiliate links. If you purchase a product through one of them, I will receive a commission (at no additional cost to you).
Natural Masks – natural ingredients rich in vitamins and minerals make ideal masks.
Fresh fruit and vegetables have a mildly astringent and stimulating effect for the skin.
Fruit is usually crushed to a pulp and placed between layers of gauze – which is then placed on the skin for 10-15 mins.
If your skin is sensitive a skin test may be required. If sensitivity is felt during the process remove the mask.
Remove with warm water - pat dry and apply your favourite moisturiser.
· Honey – toning, tightening, antiseptic and hydrating properties
· Egg white – tightening and helps to clear impurities
· Avocados – nourishing and hydrating
· Bananas – softening and useful for sensitive skins.
* Lemon and Grapefruit are considered too acidic for use on the face.
I hope you have enjoyed - and don't forget to send me questions (don't worry I'll keep it anonymous) about various skin care concerns
Much Love
Mandy xx
